The Mountain Bike Adventure offers a new style of mountain biking in the Algarve! Why more than just a great bike ride? Three guys, a spotty dog and a stack of high quality mountain bikes and equipment to get your heart pumping, your muscles aching and your vision overwhelmed with endless beauty in the Algarve’s unspoiled countryside.
Fulfilling all aspects of mountain biking from gentle tourist rides to downhill racing and even dirt jumping, if it’s on a mountain bike you are guaranteed to have a great time with The Mountain Bike Adventure!
As the first Algarve based company to be solely sponsored by the worldwide renowned bike manufacturer Specialized, The Mountain Bike Adventure use the best brand new equipment from helmets to bikes. They have both male and female specific frames to provide more comfort during the ride. The bikes are specifically designed for the type of terrain the Algarve has, the brakes and suspension give riders confidence to try things they would never usually dare, and backed up with a little instruction they leave a better rider.
Your guide being not only a UK qualified instructor (recognized by BCF and AALA, accredited by ABC, ABCC and CTC), but also of former sponsored 4X and downhill racer, you will undoubtedly learn new skills and techniques.

The Mountain Bike Adventure does not have a specific tour schedule because every ride is tailored to the customer’s ability; there are day trips to suit every type of rider, with Scenic Trips, Cross Country Day Rides, Monchique Rides and Downhill Free Rides. There are also a range of tailored holidays on offer, including Pre-Season Training, Standard Holidays, Cross Country Week and Multi-Activity Holidays!
